My daughter, Ruby, and I are so excited to be starting our very own book club! We're still in the brain storming phases, and have started by sending an invitation out to all her (12) classmates. We plan on making bookmarks, drafting up a book list and naming our club on the first meeting date.

Ruby has tons of great ideas- she can't wait! She wants to act out certain scenes, and even wants to have the club write their own book. She came up with the brilliant idea of the younger siblings having a "coloring club" while the bigger kids are engaged with their books.

Does anyone have any must read titles? Any book club "musts"? Any book club "faux-pas"? I'd love to hear some of your ideas!
