We went down to the bay this afternoon for a little photo shoot. It was a beautiful day out, and the girls were willing.

This whole photo taking thing is so new to me. I've never had the gift of photography. Now if I want to sell my clothes and stuff online, I have to rely on an image. It's so much easier to take a picture of the dress hanging on a hangar, but I don't think it works the same as seeing a real girl wearing it. A real girl wearing a dress, down by the bay, is a whole 'nother thing all together.

The real girl wants to run free like the seagull. She's constantly got her back to the camera in search for the next adventure. Her hair is flying in her face. She has to be careful not to get the dress dirty. She has to look natural, but be still, but not too stiff.

If there's one thing this mommy has learned, it is to let that real girl get real dirty.
